Neighborhood Field Services

Historic Boston Incorporated’s Neighborhood Field Services program supports and supplements the Historic Neighborhood Centers program with technical assistance, preservation planning, information, and development services for Boston’s neighborhood commercial centers outside of Fields Corner and Hyde Park.

Neighborhood Field Services program aims to:

• Provide neighborhood commercial district stakeholders with preservation information and real estate development strategies for emerging preservation projects in targeted neighborhood commercial districts;
  
  
• Identify potential projects and cultivate them for consideration by HBI or for referral to other sources of financing, technical support or problem resolution for proper preservation/development; and
  
  
• Build relationships with and offers support to property owners, project advocates and local Main Street groups.
