Anna Clapp Harris Smith House, 65 Pleasant St., Dorchester, MA
Built in 1804, the house is reputed to have been constructed on a 1636 foundation of the Jones family house. It was the life-long home of Anna Clapp Harris Smith, founder of the Animal Rescue League. HBI secured a 2-year purchase option from the owner and will work with the North Bennet Street School's preservation carpentry division to rehablitate the building with a goal of turning this 4-unit residential building to a two-family house.
