Corner Bookstore Building, (Colonial - circa 1718)
Washington Street at School Street (1960, 1984-85, and 1995-96).
HBI was incorporated in 1960 to save this building via direct acquisition and restoration. In 1985, HBI redesigned interior circulation to utilize long-abandoned space on upper floors and upgraded fire, safety, and mechanical systems. Restored 19th century appearance at street level. Location of HBI's offices.
